Fazendas Floresta Company was founded by a rural producer and Land owner in Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul States.

Some 24 years ago a portion of Forest areas were bought on Mato Grosso's Aripuana region by the company, distant 1200km or approximately 750 miles from Cuiaba City, capital of this state. During all of this time, there were deforested only 6% of the forest area to be converted on pastures. The remaining 94% were kept under a Forest Sustainable Management regime, this mean that it was possible to take from the forest several species for commercialization but only with the express authorization of the environmental government institutions that supervised these programs.

The company it is a realtor that buys and sells properties as Ranches for the cattle breathing industry and large areas of forest for Sustainable Management for lumber exploration and major land areas for agriculture, silvicultura including TEAK plantations, for agro industries and for Ecological Preservations of Parks and Permanent Reserves.

Other services render by the company are: keeping good guarding and vigilance of the clients acquired areas by the employees of the company with all the necessary equipments as trucks, tractors and machinery for the opening of roads or working trails, as well as maintaining the proper demarcations of the properties.
